Never Look Away-Portland, Oregon Mural

Pearl District-

The mural was designed by lead Artist Cassandra Swan and features LBGTQ icons. The project was supported by Pride Northwest and the Portland Street Art Alliance.

From the left side of the mural, the 2nd lady is wearing orange. She is Kathleen Sadaat, who helped organize Portland’s first gay rights march.

The mural was completed in 2021 and is located at the corner of Northwest Broadway and Couch.
