An interesting piece of information regarding condominiums with balconies is:
Before purchasing the unit, have a clear understanding of who will be responsible for maintenance and repairs for a balcony. The Homeowners Association bylaws will have this information. Typically, the owner or owners (if it is a shared balcony) have exclusive right of use and reasonable care, but the Association will repair, replace, and paint as needed.
