The three story building is designed in the Italianate style. Original features include 8 stone chimneys, exterior granite stairs, and a sandstone exterior.

The exterior double doors are varnished oak with upper light panels. Two-light transoms top the doors. Bronze handrails flank each stairway and the door hardware is un-lacquered bronze.

  1. That is a beautiful entrance to a remarkable building. I love the doors and the transom light, especially with the reflections. If I ever get to Portland again, I will want to see this.
