Lodging At The Water Tower Jail

Walterboro South Carolina

The 1915 water tower was built to hold 100,000 gallons of water above the windows.

On the lower level there are three jail cells that were offered to stranded travelers unable to pay for lodging in years past.  The hospitality of the good old days.
