Traveling around Germany this past week I could not help but to notice how the roads and the railways are so smooth. I have not seen or felt any potholes or patched up roads. The train glides along and is so comfortable. The other thing I noticed is that the directional lines painted on the roads are very clear at night and in the fog. Check it out:
