Sardis Georgia-State Route 24
Driving along Georgia State Route-24 in Burke County just as you arrive in the small City of Sardis you will notice a park with an unusual-looking tower.
As any curious blogger would do, I pulled my car to the side to explore the site. This was definitely something I have never seen before.
I walked around and checked it out from all sides
At this point I still did not guess correctly. But luckily the community had come together to preserve their history and tell the story of their once booming railroad town.
