Fripp-Lowden House

Bluffton South Carolina

Built-in 1909, it is a cottage-style home built from pine wood. The high bluff of the May River provided relief from the summer heat and a seasonal retreat for rice and cotton planters.

Today Bluffton is a thriving retirement community that is surrounded by the serenity of the past.
