Strolling and shopping in the city of Bayreuth, Germany

Taking advantage of a sunny day in late November my grand-daughter and I took the train to the city of Bayreuth to shop for LOL’s.  It’s a new toy craze for those who have not heard of them. With the restoration of buildings in the city squares and a modern shopping mall, we were quite confident our hunt would be successful.  After exiting the train we walked twenty minutes to reach the city center.

The city is known for their Richard Wagner (famous German composer) festival

We were a few weeks early for the Christmas market but the preparation was underway

We had lunch at a local restaurant that served delicious potato salad and fish, later in the day we stopped in a bakery for cheesecake and hot chocolate.  But for my Lilyfield what made her the happiest was finding a LOL at Müller.
