Some years back I put together tins with recipes that I often serve “kin” that have dinner or treats at my home. I hand wrote some family recipes on index cards to make it personal. Everyone I gave one to expressed such happiness. It was simple, inexpensive and easy to decorate with a bow for whatever the occasion. Recipes of their own can be added to the tin. My hope is that it becomes a family tradition to collect years of recipes.
My grandma’s Italian cookie’s are a number one favorite!
