Floral Clock, Niagara Parks
After the Niagara River falls there are still many attractions along the Niagara Parkway that follows the lower river and the Great Gorge to Lake Ontario.
This was always one of my favorite weekend outings when I was a child. It was always exciting to see the floral arrangements that continually change. The clock was completed in 1950 and the is maintained by the Niagara Parks Commission. The clocks mechanism is run by Ontario Hydro.
There is not a charge to view the clock, parking is easy, and you can go inside the back tower to view photos of the various floral arrangement throughout the years. There are over 16,000 plants in the summer months and during the winter some are replaced with stones.
Here are more photos from my brief morning walk

The clock is located at 14004 Niagara Parkway, Queenston Ontario Canada
The park hours vary with the change of season
