Message board

I had the opportunity to live in Seattle in the late 1970’s, which sends me back to the pacific northwest to visit friends and family.

August is my favorite time of year to visit because you’re likely to see the sunshine and the temperature stays around the  70º mark.

Seattle just has it all. The mountains, oceanside, fishing, hunting, booming economy, great transportation system with ferry rides, great hotels, a big airport, freeways, shopping, Starbucks, fish markets, and restaurants. There is artwork displayed just about anywhere that shows off the personality of this city.  All of this is enjoyed by a growing population of easy going folks….

I put this close the top of my list of favorite USA cities….

I like to order Alaskan salmon or Halibut

Plan to spend a week because the surrounding areas of Everett, Port Orchard, and Bremerton are also worth a visit….or you can take drive up to Vancouver Canada

Happy travels….So much to see in the USA
